Randers is a small town in the North of Denmark, it is about a 3 hours 30 minutes from Copenhagen or 2 hours 30 minutes from the German border.

As Denmarks 6th largest city there is lots of things to do and see.

It has always been a large industrial town and many of the half wooden buildings can still be seen from its history as a vast market town.  Close to the close there is a water inlet that is called Randers Fjord which allowed sea trade to help with the towns growth. In the 19th century neighbouring Aarhus overtook Randers with its industry, however Randers remains a city of steady increase in population over the years.

The main attraction for many years and continues to be is the Tropical Zoo that houses its own rainforest with 175 different species of animals and over 350 different types of plants.
